Jake Colognesi is a Founding Partner of Mamba Growth Equity, a New York-based growth equity fund focused on minority investments in profitable vertical software companies. At Mamba, Jake leads the team's efforts in partnering with founder-owned businesses that have chosen to bootstrap rather than take venture capital. He believes strongly in allowing entrepreneurs to maintain decision-making control while accessing the capital and strategic support that Mamba offers. Jake currently serves on the boards of Ludus and OTTO Sport AI.  Prior to founding Mamba, Jake spent two decades in growth equity, working at Fidelity Ventures, Volition Capital, and Sageview Capital, where he developed deep expertise in B2B software, consumer applications, and tech-enabled services

Jake is a Worcester-county native originally. He graduated from Colby College where he competed on the Division I Alpine Ski Racing team and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He currently lives in Riverside, Connecticut, with his wife and three kids.
